Sublimation Ink & Dye Ink & Pigment Ink,What Kind of Inkjet Printer is Suitable for Them Respectively

Hi, Nice to see you,my friends!Today the topic is about how to distinguish the sublimation ink from dye ink & pigment ink. I think you must know that there are three kinds of ink (dye ink, pigment ink and sublimation ink) on the market, but you may don’t know how to choose them. In order to answer this question, you must know what it is and why use it. Here I would like to introduce them to you, then you will know the answer.

Sublimation ink is a dye-based ink which has a very high transfer rate.
It is unique in its ability to convert from a solid to a gas without going through a liquid form (Just like dry ice). The transfer rate on the common color jet paper is 80%, and the transfer rate of the special heat transfer paper is more than 90%.It is suitable for sublimation inkjet printers.

Usage: used for thermal transfer products, such as polyester cloth and other chemical fiber fabrics.
Advantage: bright color, scratch-resistant, washable, waterproof, fastness.
DYE ink is a molecular-level fully dissolved ink, it dissolves in water like sugar does in water completely. It’s also known for easily obtaining saturated, brilliant colors due to its small molecular size, 1.5-4 nanometers (1 nanometer=1/1000 of a micrometer, 1 micrometer=1/1000 of a millimeter). But the dye will re-dissolve and the ink will flow across the paper if drops of water hit the paper. For normal document printing on inkjet paper, photo paper, pvc card etc, we would recommend dye ink as it is much economic compared to pigment ink.

Usage: It is suitable for common printers ,can be used on the normal document printing which is not used for a long period of time.
Advantages: will not plug the nozzles, eye-catching colorful printing, low cost.
Disadvantages: easily faded in direct sunlight or water immersion.

Pigment inks use tiny particles of colored material to provide ink color, rather than paper-staining dyes. Pigment inks are comprised of tiny, encapsulated particles that sit on top of the paper, instead of being absorbed into a paper is fibers, which is what happens with dyes. Most pigment ink printers also offer more subtle color shading, since they use up to eight different ink colors. Pigment inks are much more stable than dye-based inks, and can last more than 200 years on some paper types, under ideal (museum-quality lighting and framing) conditions.

Usage: outdoor used document, T-shirt printing on dark based / light based cotton materials with transfer papers.
Advantage: water-proof & UV resistant.
Disadvantage: large particles may cause plug of the nozzles, the color is not so vivid as dye ink, higher cost than dye ink.
Okay, These all above are my share about the difference of the three kinds of ink (dye ink, pigment ink and sublimation ink),and then you have knew what kind of inkjet printer is suitable for them respectively! Our company have many kinds of sublimation ink ,if you have any other needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

Do You Know What to Do If The Sublimation Ink Spill out in Printing Process?

Hi, Nice to see you. After the snow, today is sunny day and Friday is coming again. We all know printing is a necessary part in the sublimation process. And the printing technology is getting more and more popular in the world. The inks after the printing can bring use many different beautiful patterns. While from the other side,  if you spill out the sublimation ink before the printing. It must means a big trouble is coming. And do you know what can you do if the sublimation ink is really spill out? Read the following and today I will share you some ways about how to solve this problem.
Actually, This cases mostly may happen in the following three places: Your clothes, your skin or just the ground. Then how to solve effectively ? In the next words I will give you some small tips.

Sublimation Ink Spilled onto Your Clothes
In fact, sublimation ink accidentally stained clothes above the following treatment:
First, if you accidentally get on the clothes, then you can immediately take off to clean, but also can take the detergent and rice and mix thoroughly and then scrub, or add detergent completely soaked. For white or fiber material can be used to bleach and 84 disinfectant to clean, but the difficulty of cleaning is relatively large, then you can continue for half an hour, and then gradually rubbing wash. The basic ink stains can be removed. But the effect of different materials, clothing cleaning will be different.

Sublimation Ink Spilled to Your Skins
Second, if the sublimation ink is stained on the skin, try to avoid the ink is the way to re-operation of the process as much as possible to bring gloves. Put on gloves after the operation of the pictorial machine can also avoid the appearance of static electricity. Affecting the print The effect is still touched on the skin, then you can repeatedly scrub the water. You can also use the essential oil or cleansing oil rub rub in the department, so that the ink stains on the skin can become lighter. As long as the repeated rubbing a few All over the skin, and then use the wet paper towel to wipe, you can put the picture machine stained with ink stains removed.

Sublimation Ink Spilled to The Ground
This can easily happen during the transportation of sublimation ink and we often encounter this situation. So when meet this situation, the best way is to use the wop mop to clean it at the first time before it get dry. If you clean it when the sublimation inks dry already, it will be a very hard work.

Okay, these all above are my share about how to solve the problems if your sublimation ink spill out in the different situations. If you have any other needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. How Do You Know The Difference between The Dye Sublimation Ink and Pigment Ink?

Hi, Nice to see you. Long time no see. How are you these days? Very glad that so many people read my last article about the Korean Papijet sublimation ink introduction. Then today I will keep following the topic and share you more about the inks.
We all know that with the different forms printing method, there must be many different ink for printing. For example, for the sublimation printing we should use the sublimation ink, for the eco-solvent printing we should use the eco-solvent inks. While do you know what's the difference between the inks? Keep read the following and I will firstly share you the difference between the dye sublimation ink and the pigment ink.

Firstly, have a brief introduce about the pigment ink. Pigments are solid, opaque particles suspended in ink to provide color.  Pigment molecules typically link together in crystalline structures that are 0.1-2 μm in size and include 5-30 percent of the ink volume. Qualities such as hue , saturation, and lightness vary depending on the source and type of pigment.

Water Resistance
Then from the side of the water resistance, do you know the difference between the sublimation ink and the pigment ink? We all know that the dye sublimation ink is a water based ink. So the sublimation ink dissolve readily in water whilst pigment inks do not. Because of this difference, dye sublimation ink flow through printers more easily, this makes more people choose it for the inkjet printing.
Pigment particles differ in the sense that instead of being absorbed into the media, they become intertwined within the label fibers. Thus, pigmented inks are more water resistant than dye-based inks.

Fade Resistance
You can think of them when on paper as similar to a beach covered with sand.  The ink is laid in a predominately flat fashion creating a high surface area. Because of this, dye sublimation inks tend to fade quicker, since all of the molecules are exposed to the light, causing the chemical reactions which inevitably lead to a fading effect in as little as 6-12 weeks. However, if your labels are protected from sunlight, they can last up to several years.
New Technology by Epson original ink and others in the industry has been developed in order to reduce the effect light has on dye ink. With the right combination of ink and media, it is possible to achieve resistance somewhat comparable to pigment based inks.

Printing Effect
Dye sublimation inks excel at producing high color vibrancy and saturation with exceptional image detail. While the pigment inks don’t produce as vibrant colors as dye, although they can still produce great quality prints.Where pigment inks do stand out is their durability. If your application demands for highly legible text and or artwork that can stand the test of time, such as GHS labeling, then pigment is the choice for you. And mostly the dye sublimation inks are used for the fabrics and some home interiors produce.

Okay, These all above are my share about the difference between the sublimation ink and the pigment ink. If you have any other needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you with the best quality products and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

Teach You to Identify The Quality of Sublimation Ink in Four Steps

Hi, Nice to see you. Long time no see in the sublimation ink blanks. In my last articles I have mostly shared you about our new machines sch as the digital inkjet printer, rotary heat press machine and the laser cutting machine. These all produces are necessary in the whole sublimation process. Then apart from this, the sublimation ink is also a very important one in the first printing process-----sublimation ink.

We all know the quality of the sublimation ink can determine you final transfer effect. So have a right choice of the sublimation ink is very important, then today I will share you 4 steps for you to identify the quality of the sublimation ink. Read the following and get to know more.

Step 1 Ink Color Reduction Rate
Sublimation ink is mainly through the sublimation of the characteristics of the transfer to the printing material, so the color reduction rate is one of the very important factors. The ink color reduce rate means the color left on the sublimation paper after transfer. If the color is lighter in the sublimation paper after transfer means the quality of the sublimation ink is better.  Usually the reduction rate of imported ink is close to 90%. In this case, there is no pattern on the heat transfer paper after transfer, almost white. The higher the rate of reduction of the color, then the transfer to the printing material on the pattern of color saturation is higher.

Step 2 The Size of The Ink Particles
Large particles of sublimation ink prone to the phenomenon of printer plug, and will lead to the screen texture is not enough enough. Usually, on the instructions of the sublimation ink, the manufacturers may mark the specific data of the ink particles. But sometimes in order to make sure you can ask your suppliers the sample for you to have a test.

Step 3 Ink Color Purity
For the sublimation transfer ink, the black ink is the most easy to color. For a low-quality sublimation of ink, black ink will be some red and purple. Check the quality of ink quality, by looking at the purity of black ink is also the most direct and effective way.

Step 4 The Price of Ink
Usually, sublimation ink is divided into imported ink, domestic ink and imported materials, domestic production. Imported ink is mainly divided into Italian imports of sublimation ink, South Korea imports of sublimation ink and imports of German sublimation ink; domestic ink, as the name suggests is the use of domestic raw materials, domestic production. Our Chinese Skyimage sublimation ink in the color reduction rate and saturation and the degree of sophistication can achieve the quality of imported ink and the price is lower than the import of sublimation ink.

Okay, These all above are my share about how to identify the quality of the sublimation ink in 4 steps. If you have any needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you with the best quality products and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

Do You Know Difference among The Sublimation Ink, Eco-solvent Ink And UV Ink

Hi, Nice to see you. Today is Friday. The happy weekend will coming soon. Also today is the last article about the sublimation inks in this week.
In the printing process, the digital printing can be divided into the sublimation printing, eco-solvent printing and UV printing.  When you doing the printing, the biggest difference is that they use the different ink. Then do you know what's the difference among the three ink? Read the following articles and today I will share you the difference of them.

Sublimation Ink
Sublimation ink is mostly made of woven dye stuffs. Disperse dyes because of its saturated color and good weather resistance, so in the textile printing and dyeing has a wide range of applications, so far still one of the printing and dyeing industry, one of the main raw materials. Traditional textile printing and dyeing industry using the dispersion of pigment dyeing process has a serious environmental pollution problems, and not suitable for small batch production.

Eco-solvent Ink
Eco-solvent inks were developed as a more used friendly alternative to the strong solvent inks for shops that don’t print every day. These light solvent inks, which utilize a mineral oil as a vehicle, are less likely to clog than the fast drying strong solvent inks and require less maintenance. For the most part, you can print on the same types of media that you use for the solvent inks.  There are a variety of ink sets with expanded ranges of color that are available in the eco-solvent category. These pigments inks provide good durability for outdoor applications, such as vehicle graphics, and good image reproduction for indoor applications, such as P.O.P displays, trade show and museum graphics. The downside of these inks is that they don’t dry as fast as the solvent.

UV Ink
UV ink in the pigment particle diameter of less than 1 micron, without volatile organic solvents, ultra-low viscosity, non-irritating odor, to ensure that the ink in the jet printing process without clogging nozzle phenomenon, the six-month high temperature storage test, , Sinking, stratification and other anomalies. UV ink that is dry, can be used with the current market, the use of various types of nozzle UV flat panel printer match. UV ink suitable for printing metal, glass, ceramics, PC, PVC, ABS and other materials. After curing the ink layer of high hardness, good adhesion, scrub resistance, solvent resistance, high gloss.

Okay, These all above are my share about the difference between the sublimation ink, eco-solvent ink and the UV ink. If you have any needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you with the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

And today I will keep following the topic and share you some tips that you should pay attention to when wholesale the sublimation ink with big quantities.
In the sublimation digital printing process, the sublimation ink is necessary. When customers want to buy the sublimation inks from us our minimum order is 50 liters. Then do you know how can you guarantee the quality of the sublimation ink when you wholesale it?

Tip 1 Brand of The Sublimation Ink
Choose the sublimation ink with bid famous brand. In fact, the demand of the sublimation ink is very large when doing the whole sublimation printing and transferring. So most of the customers need to wholesale it. Even though the price of the sublimation ink may be ,more expensive but it is more practical and the quality f the ink is really good. Then the after service of the famous brand is also very good. If this product have any quality problems we can also choose to return and protect our own interests.

Tip 2 Sampling Check
The sampling check is very important. If you have buy the sublimation ink already and you have no enough understanding of the ink, only check one bottle ink is not enough. You should must pay attention to the sampling check, in the checking process if your products has too many problems you should ask them to change or return. There may be a number of products do have some defective products, as long as it is able to seriously compare, the defect rate if not very high, it is worth our purchase, the sample quality is more trustworthy.

Tip 3 After-sales Service
Make sure with your supplier, if they have a complete set of the after-sales service. Because some of the suppliers have no the factory, so they also by the sublimation ink from the original factories and then distribute it for you. So after you buy the sublimation ink from them, make sure whether they can provide you with a good service after you buy the sublimation ink if the ink has a bad quality.

Do You Know How to Distinguish The Quality of Your Sublimation Ink?

Hi, Nice to see you. Yesterday I have shared you about the Italy original J-teck sublimation ink. Then do you know how to distinguish the quality of the sublimation ink in a right way? And what factors should we consider when judge the performance of the sublimation ink? Today I will share you more.

Firstly, you should take care about the sample for test. Before you wholesale the sublimation ink, please ask your suppliers for the sample test. Then When you test your inks you should pay attention to the following factors

Factor 1 Fluency of The Ink
Fluency is a basic performance for you to distinguish the quality of the sublimation ink. If the fluency is good enough , there will not have the broken ink phenomenon and affect the print effect. Also if your sublimation ink have a good fluency, your printed head will be protected very well. If not your print head may be blocked easily.

Factor 2 Color saturation
After you print your patterns with the sublimation ink finally, you should better watch it carefully. Compare the color printed onto the paper with the original one. The color of the printed products is bright, can meet or even beyond the traditional printing can show the color, is also an important measure of ink norms.

Factor 3 Color fastness
After the print, you also need to have a test that transfer the patterns from the sublimation paper onto the fabric and then wash it. This test can judge the color fastness of the sublimation ink. The color fastness includes washing fastness, dry cleaning fastness, soaping fastness, etc. Color fastness is also an important measure of the quality of digital printing standards, that is not fade. Usually use high-quality sublimation ink for digital printing, color fastness can reach 3-4.

Factor 4 Environmental Protection
Actually, the environmentally protection is a very important factor for the sublimation ink. One of the important reason is that the digital printing products will touch our skin after transfer onto the fabrics. Also some products may be used for export so have a high environmental protection feature is very important. So make sure you sublimation ink for digital inkjet printing is the water based ink.

Factor 5 Storage Stability
Have a stable storage ability is a very good advantage for the sublimation ink. Whether the ink is suitable for a long time to storage, whether the process of storage of chemical or physical reactions, thus affecting the quality of ink.

Factor 6 Batch Differences
Whether the ink supplier can supply the same quality ink for a long time and stably. When you wholesale your sublimation ink do you know what should you pay attention to? And how can you promise the quality of the sublimation ink? Tomorrow I will share the answer of this question.

Okay, These all above are my share about the factors that you should pay attention to when distinguish the quality of the sublimation ink. If you have any needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you with the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. How Much Do You Know about It?-----Italy Original J-teck Sublimation Ink

Hi, Nice to see you. How is weekend going? I  take my whole weekend in cleaning my house and sleeping. In the last week, I have mostly shared you the information an tips that you should pay attention to when use or buy the sublimation paper. Then in this week. I will share you more about the sublimation ink.

Today is the Italy original J-teck sublimation ink. How much do you know about the J-teck ink? Do you know which kind of printing can it be used? Do you know how many models does it have and what's the advantages of them?  Read the following and get to know more.
Firstly, the J-teck ink can be divided into two different models from the application for printing. The sublimation ink and the ink for direct print. The biggest difference  between them is that the ink for printing can be suited not only the Epson print head but also the Kyocera print head technology. While today I will specially introduce you the sublimation ink.
J-Teck sublimation inks are dispersed dyes within an eco-friendly liquid carrier that are printed onto paper. The dispersed dyes are transferred from the paper to a textile creating a vibrant image. J-Teck’s ink formula has made it possible for the dyes to run through high speed print heads without clogging. Sublimation inks have a wide variety of applications, from sports-wear to plastic substrates.

Compatibility Printers And Paper
J-Teck inks work with Epson Piezo print head technology. Major J-Teck Labs printer brands with this technology include Epson, Roland, Mimaki, Mutoh, and D.Gen.Increased velocity print heads with even greater precision have been developed in recent years by Epson. J-Teck inks are also compatible with these newer print heads.High volume print heads made by Ricoh and Kyocera are compatible with J-Teck inks.As the printers advance to accommodate faster, larger production, J-Teck inks advance to meet the demands of these printers.

Any coated sublimation paper can be used with J-Teck inks. This includes the “Tacky” coated paper. Tacky paper is slightly coated with an adhesive to eliminate any movement between the paper and textile during the transfer. Depending on the paper, printer, textile and environment, a particular paper brand will be better suited for the job than another.J-Teck inks are tested with all major brand printers and papers to offer unbiased commentary to our customers. There are no financial incentives as we recommend the right printer or paper for our inks to see optimal image results.
