The dye sublimation inks are a pigment suspended in a liquid solvent, like water. The images are initially printed on coated heat-resistant transfer paper as a reverse image of the final design, which is then transferred onto polyester fabric in a heat press operating at a temperature around 180 to 210 C (375 F).There are many advantages of dye sublimation ink,such as Good image printing, ,waterproof, washing standing and so on.

Sublimation inks produce brilliant colour and good light fastness when applied to polyester and polyester coated substrates. Applying heat to the printed image with a press, whether through transfer paper or directly, fixes these vivid inks into the polyester substrate allowing the item to be washed time and time again.Sublimation inks mianly used for Textile,Hardware ,fashion,polyester,sports weard and so on.

Next,UV inks are rising in popularity for several reasons. Water-based inks are cumbersome to dry and solvent-based inks require removal of part of the solvent, after transfer, which is challenging to dispose of with environmental regulations. Both water-based inks and solvent-based inks require a drying process which takes time and also reduces the efficacy of the ink as ink costs in volume and around 40% of the ink base is lost in drying or curing.

UV inks offer many benefits such as being more environmentally friendly than solvent-based inks, good opacity, light-fastness, resistance to smearing, sharp contrast, and a nice gloss. The UV inks, again because of the lack of evaporative agents, will maintain consistency throughout the whole press run, never getting thick or sticky.

Even water-based inks often use chemical catalyst components that require harsh cleaners to remove, when cleaning the printing equipment. Cleaning must be done on a regular basis to prevent the plugging of the printing cells, leading to high costs over time. Thus UV inks save time, money, and environmental waste by greatly reducing the need for cleaning.

  In the printing process, the digital printing can be divided into the sublimation printing, eco-solvent printing and UV printing.  When you doing the printing, the biggest difference is that they use the different ink. Sublimation Ink
  Sublimation ink is mostly made of woven dye stuffs. Disperse dyes because of its saturated color and good weather resistance, so in the textile printing and dyeing has a wide range of applications, so far still one of the printing and dyeing industry, one of the main raw materials. Traditional textile printing and dyeing industry using the dispersion of pigment dyeing process has a serious environmental pollution problems, and not suitable for small batch production.

Eco-solvent Ink
  Eco-solvent inks were developed as a more used friendly alternative to the strong solvent inks for shops that don’t print every day. These light solvent inks, which utilize a mineral oil as a vehicle, are less likely to clog than the fast drying strong solvent inks and require less maintenance. For the most part, you can print on the same types of media that you use for the solvent inks.  There are a variety of ink sets with expanded ranges of color that are available in the eco-solvent category. These pigments inks provide good durability for outdoor applications, such as vehicle graphics, and good image reproduction for indoor applications, such as P.O.P displays, trade show and museum graphics. The downside of these inks is that they don’t dry as fast as the solvent. 

UV Ink
  UV ink in the pigment particle diameter of less than 1 micron, without volatile organic solvents, ultra-low viscosity, non-irritating odor, to ensure that the ink in the jet printing process without clogging nozzle phenomenon, the six-month high temperature storage test, , Sinking, stratification and other anomalies. UV ink that is dry, can be used with the current market, the use of various types of nozzle UV flat panel printer match. UV ink suitable for printing metal, glass, ceramics, PC, PVC, ABS and other materials. After curing the ink layer of high hardness, good adhesion, scrub resistance, solvent resistance, high gloss.
