The Difference Between Skyimage Sublimation Ink and Other Type Inks

Hello, good afternoon, my dear friends. The seven days National holiday is over, then I should work carefully. So, let enter today's topic, during sublimation industrial, I believe you must know sublimation ink. Comparing with sublimation transfer ink, do you know the other ink- such as uv ink, pigment ink, solvent ink and soluble ink. Reading and following my this aritcle, I will tell you the advantages and disadvantages each of them.

1, pigment ink: the advantage is good light resistance; the disadvantage is that the color is relatively dark.

2, water sublimation ink: the advantage is that it can be transferred to different media, not only on paper. Such as ceramics and glass. Many different media can be transferred to the past; the disadvantage is that the operation procedure is more troublesome and the price is higher.

3, soluble ink: because oil soluble ink is made of pigment, its advantages are tasteless and light resistant; the disadvantage is that it is expensive and must be printed on the coated medium.

4, solvent ink: because it is pigmented, so its advantages are good light resistance and water repellency, and can be printed on any medium. The disadvantage is that the oil base used in this kind of ink is flammable, dangerous and strong. It has certain damage to the human body.

5, UV curable ink: the advantage is that the ink itself does not contain volatile solvents, and after curing, light resistance, waterproof are very good, so it is suitable for printing industry; the disadvantage is that before the curing, some of its monomers are easily caused by some people's allergic reaction.

UV ink is more and more widely used. The fast drying, stability and environmental protection of the UV inkjet printer are in a clear view in these hard media (easy acrylic, glass, tile and so on).

Okay, this is all I tell you the differences among dye sublimation ink and other kind ink. These inks our company sales all. If you have any other needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

What is the Risk of Choosing Non-genuine Sublimation Ink for Your Inkjet Printer?

Hi, good afternoon, my dear friends. I haven't update my blog with long time. Because of I participate in our Shanghai Expr last week. During this Shanghai Expr I gained a lot. I learned more about sublimation ink. So, today's topic is about dye sublimation ink. Do you know what is the What you need to know genuine sublimation inks? what is the risk when use non-genuine inks? About these questions, if you don't know the answer, following this article, I will tell you clearly!

What you need to know about inks?
Who wants to spend time thinking about their printer? It should just work. We’ve developed our inks and printers to work in harmony, so that they’ll do just that and give you consistent and reliable results without any fuss. That’s because we invest in extensive research, high-tech manufacturing facilities and put our products through rigorous tests.

But naturally, we can’t say the same for inks that we’ve not created. There’s no assurance from Epson that so-called compatible inks or remanufactured cartridges will deliver.

Are you willing to put yourself at risk of unreliable yields and poor prints? Or worse, the cartridges failing to work or the printer breaking? Secure yourself against potential printing pitfalls by using genuine Epson ink.

What are the risks with non-genuine inks?
We want you to always have a trouble-free printing experience. That’s why we're highlighting the potential issues you could encounter with non-genuine inks.
Imagine needing to print a flight ticket and it fails to work - because the nozzles have clogged or the printer is unable to recognise the cartridge. Or worse, the cartridge has arrived broken before you’ve even had a chance to get started.
Non-genuine inks aren’t designed and tested by Epson, which means that your printer could be vulnerable to malfunctions that are not covered by your printer warranty.

Okay, these all above are my share about the risk of choosing non-genuine sublimation transfer ink for your printer. If you have any other needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

Have You Know Materials are Used in Dye Sublimation Ink? What's Advantage of It?

Hi, nice to see you again, my dear friends. A week will over again. During the sublimation transfer printing, I believe that you must know dye sublimation ink. Then did you know materials are used in the sublimation ink. Now, let me talk about this topic.

In the specific use of sublimated ink need to see what is the materials it? Many people still want to see the basic market evaluation, that is, when we approve of it, we can know whether it is reasonable, and can rest assured to choose, after all, this kind of water in the use of the process. There are many advantages that can be achieved. They are widely used in many textile industries. The raw materials made from the distribution of dyes are also better in actual performance and function, so you can choose to use them safely.

Looking at the material of the body, it is now widely used to make some cloth, leather metal and other wood materials more, which means that the value of heat sublimation ink is more detailed to understand the use of the overall advantages of the tablet and popularity will be higher, so, in the choice of time must see whether the overall advantage of the value is not to play a role. A good choice of ceramic, glass and plexiglass sublimation inks when the actual effect or price comparison is that as long as we can understand in detail when doing these benefits can be learned from the value, in the whole market can know the role of ink is reasonable to choose.

The advantages of dye sublimation transfer ink
Compared with the traditional ink, Sublimation Ink has a fast drying speed, good environmental protection, good overprinting effect and high brightness and so on.
(1) Sublimation Ink curing speed; in the UV light irradiation, only a fraction of a second to a few seconds to cure, improve the production efficiency; due to curing instant dry, small dot expansion, ink penetration to the paper In the less, strength, clarity and stability are significantly better than ordinary ink; at the same time Sublimation Ink printing does not require powder, so that the printing operation environment can be improved.

(2) sublimed ink due to solvent-free, after curing the thickness of the ink layer and the same thickness of the printing ink, the weight per unit of Sublimation Ink compared with traditional inks, printing color reproduction ability stronger.

(3) As the sublimation of the chemical in the ink through the cross-linking reaction to form a polymer three-dimensional network of polymer, the ink surface has a strong chemical resistance and abrasion resistance in a variety of printing materials (including gold and silver cardboard, Film, synthetic paper, metal, plastic and other non-absorbent materials) on the fixed, strong adhesion.

(4) Sublimation Ink only in the ultraviolet radiation will occur under the cross-linking curing reaction, the printing machine will not dry, so when the ink will not solidification, you can immediately "run and stop", can reduce the printing preparation time ,Increase efficiency.

(5) Sublimation Ink, the monomer used for dilution can also be used as a curing component to participate in the curing reaction; therefore, Sublimation Ink can achieve almost 100% solid content, in the drying process without solvent evaporation, reduce the environment Of pollution.

(6) Sublimation Ink curing drying is used in UV light source, which is almost no heat effect of the cold light source, for those who are sensitive to heat-sensitive substrates will not be affected, applicable to heat-sensitive substrate printing, Not because of material deformation and other issues caused by ink film off, wrinkling and so on.

Okay, if you want to learn more about sublimation ink, you can contact us at any time online.

Do You Know How to Save Digital/ Sublimation Printing Ink? - There are Five Tips

Hello, nice to see you again, my dear friends. Do you know how to save money during digital printing? The most common printer-related complaints we get are from sublimation printing man bemoaning the high cost of sublimation transfer ink. Yes, sublimation ink can be costly—particularly for people who print in high volume—but there are ways to reduce your printing costs over time. Here, we offer some money-saving printing tips.

Take these tips, will help you to save digital printing ink!
Shop for a printer with a low cost per page. Many printers have a low sticker price, but when you factor in ink costs, you may be paying more for them in the long run. Ink or toner costs tend to be inversely proportional to a printer's price; high-end laser printers often have a very low cost per page, while budget inkjets frequently have high ink costs. But even for printers within a given price range, there may be considerable variation in running costs. It pays to do your research so you don't get stuck with a printer with inflated ink or toner costs.

Skyimage says---One caveat: The most economical cartridges are also the highest-capacity and the most expensive ones, so although you'll have to change them less frequently than the low-capacity cartridges, you will have to pay more for them up front. For instance, replacing a set of color laser toner cartridges can run several hundred dollars. And for inkjets, if you don't print a lot, you may be better off with lower-capacity cartridges.

Check your printer's software or driver settings. Most printers come with a user-friendly software interface that lets you access and tweak many of the printer's functions. All come with a printer driver—a program that controls the printer, converting files and commands into a format the printer can recognize. The driver offers a more direct way (and in some cases, the only way) to change settings, with all the settings accessible through a tabbed interface.

To find the driver, open the Printers page (in some Windows versions, it's called Devices and Printers) from the Start menu or the Control Panel, right-click on your printer's name or icon, and open the Printing Preferences tab.

Whether you work from the software interface or the driver, our recommendations are the same. Look for an ink-saver or toner-saver mode. Print in Draft mode except when presentation-quality output is required. Wherever possible, print in black and white instead of color. If your printer supports duplex printing, using it will enable you to save paper.

Third-party inks may save you money—but at a cost. Many third-party companies offer ink cartridges that they claim are compatible with given printers, at a considerable cost savings from the cartridges offered by the manufacturers. Although the savings are real, sometimes you'll pay even a higher price in headaches. Common complaints about third-party inks include degraded output quality and the need to frequently clean the nozzles. If you're still tempted to try third-party inks, do your homework: Do a search on the ink company and see what other users have said about its cartridges.

Take care of your ink and toner. With older ink cartridges, particulates may come out of solution and clog the nozzles. To prevent this, don't overstock on ink cartridges so they extend past their "use by" date. Also, match cartridge capacity to how much you actually print, to avoid having large-capacity cartridges languish beyond their time. (It's also a good idea to regularly clean the nozzles—your printer should have a setting that will clean the nozzles and print out a test sheet.)

Okay, these are tips that I tell you how to save digital printing inks. If you have any other needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

Which Kind Printing Ink Better for Your Business & Saving the Cost?

Hi, nice to see you again, my dear friends! A week will over again. Today's topic is about printer ink. There are several different types in regular use in digital printing, each with very different characteristics. Those characteristics are what you need to understand when making your investment decisions, because they can make a big difference in cost and quality.

The core of any inkjet printing system is the ink, which is essentially pigment suspended in a carrier liquid. The job of the ink is to deliver the pigment to the media and to bind it to the media’s surface. The range of substrates that the ink will work with, ultimately determines the applications that a printing engine can handle.

Make the wrong choice, and you will be disappointed with the results. Ink vendors are currently working to expand the range of substrates their inks will work with directly, so that substrates don’t need to be treated with a primer.

Ink manufacturers see huge potential beyond the graphic arts into more industrial uses for their ink products, such as furniture and car manufacturing. The carrier liquid plays a key role in determining which substrates the inks will work with.

Water is the cheapest and most sustainable carrier, but once it has delivered the pigment to the media, the water then has to be dried. Since water tends to soak into uncoated media, this also means that water-based inks can only print to coated media, and though there’s a fairly wide range of suitable substrates, this does push up the cost of consumables.

Nonetheless, standard aqueous ink printers are relatively cheap and have excellent colour fidelity. Typically aqueous inks can produce very sharp images with vibrant colours, and most vendors have models with up to twelve inks for increased colour gamut. This makes them suitable for producing photographic and fine art posters. Images from these printers are normally thought of as for indoor use only, however they can be laminated for outdoor use as well.

Material printed with aqueous inks is particularly suitable for retail point of purchase signs because it doesn’t give off the unpleasant odours common with some solvent and UV inks. The majority of textile printing also uses water based dye sublimation inks that are suitable for printing to polyester fabrics. The water acts as a carrier to place the pigment, either directly onto the fabric or onto a transfer sheet.

A heat press is then used to boil the inks to a gas, driving the pigment into the textile fibres, so that when the inks cool down the image has fused with the fabric, rather than simply sitting on top of its surface.

Okay, these all above are my share about the knowlege of many kinds printing ink. If you have any other needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

Why Does the Price of Sublimation Ink Grow Rapidly?

According to the recent published Inkjet Report, many people highlighting the growth of inkjet technologies in digital print and its prospects moving forward. Commercial printing inks continue to lead the digital revolution that makes digital and wide format the new standard. There are still questions of the direction print will go as more technologies get introduced in marketing. For now, commercial sublimation printing inks are seeing more growth year over year.

What is sublimation printing?
Commercial sublimation ink continues to grow. With the popularity of sublimation printing in our daily life.
Sublimation inks from Skyimage utilize popular desktop inkjet printers from Epson and Ricoh, and a standard heat press machine, to produce premium full-color, photographic quality images that will not crack, peel or wash away from the substrate.

The conversion is initiated by heat and controlled with pressure and time. Hard items such as ceramic, fiberboard, metals, etc. Requires a special coating on its surface to accept the sublimation inks. If the pressure, time or temperature is not appropriate for a particular sublimation blanks, then the quality of printing will be affected.

The characteristic of sublimation ink:
1. Using high-quality imported raw materials, fine particles, the average size of 0.2um, fluency, not clogging the print head, suitable for continue printing;

2. The unique formula of environmental protection, not damage the print head;
3. Transfer-tested, rubbing wear color fastness 5, perspiration-resistant color fastness 5, 5 color fastness to water, direct contact with the skin, not harmful to humans;
4. Proof of professional treatment, colorful screen, and fine reducibility.
5. Strong water proof ability, long-term display ability can be printed on transfer paper;
6. The top grade sublimation inks can be used on mug/plate/garment/glass/metal/flag and so on;
7. The sublimation inkjet inks will keep the printer head clean, so there is no broken line in long term printing. All of this will improve the reliability,
productivity, and efficiency of your printing machine;
8. More than 18 months outdoor durability.

What the wide application of sublimation inks?

1. Polyester and polyamide fabrics, spandex, lycra, nylon used in sports apparel and outdoor clothing
2. Plastic substrates like skis, snowboards, skateboards and surfboards
3. Mixed synthetic fabrics(used in sports apparel and outdoor clothing) with a minimum polyester content of 60%

“The strongest markets for digital printing include commercial, high-speed office, and emerging applications such as packaging,” someone continued. “Many factors drive growth in these segments, such as greater demand for customization, shorter runs and the need for continued cost reductions.”

Sublimation inks is with so many advantages, the future is bright for digital printing. All the ink producers anticipate commercial printing ink will reach year over year double digit growth. Packaging is leading the growth, but sublimation paper applications will continue to see growth as well.

Are you Really Know UV printing? Does UV Inks Can Adhere to Any Surface?

Hi, nice to see you again, dear friend! It's a nice day in Nanjing. Today' s topic is about UV printing. Are you really know UV printing? Reading and following, I will share you more?

Understanding UV Printing
To understand how a UV flatbed printer is different from the other print machines, we need to go back to our earlier examples of inkjet, laser, solvent, offset, etc. printers. In each of these machines, media, confirming to strict set of specifications (like paper size, thickness, uniform flatness, etc.) has to pass in and out of the printer. Remember, the printer stays in its place. It is the media that is always moving.

But a UV flatbed is constructed differently. It has a bed or table which is stationery. This table also has inbuilt vacuum suction. The UV print heads are mounted on a gantry that moves along the X and Y axis of the table. When you need to print upon an object, you simply place it on the bed /table. The vacuum suction holds the object in place. This ensures that the object does not shift inadvertently or due to machine vibrations. At the time of printing, the gantry moves the print mechanism in the directions of left / right and up / down. The print heads fitted in the gantry, cover all the area on the print bed. They fire ink on any object placed on the bed and the same gets printed upon.

UV Inks can adhere to any surface
UV inks as the name suggests get cured by ultraviolet rays. These inks are sprayed in a liquid form on the print surface. An ultra violet lamp then passes over the inks and solidifies them in place. Inkjet inks require coated papers to reproduce high resolution images. Laser toner cannot adhere to rough and textured papers. But UV inks are unique in the sense that they are media independent. These inks can be applied to smooth surfaces like plastic or rough surfaces like wood. You can use them to print on stone, ceramics, marble, glass, acrylic, etc. As long as the UV lamps cure the inks properly, they solidify and faithfully stick to just about any rigid surface.

Direct print on objects using UV flatbed printing
Flatbed UV printers are tweaked to…

  • Print on an object by placed on the print bed
  • They use inks which adhere to just about any surface

Because of the two properties mentioned above, the applications of flatbed UV printing are limited only by your imagination. Given below, are some of the applications of the same…

The application of UV printing

  • Printing logos and product pics on diaries and folders: Customers bring in diaries and folders from stationers shops. We print company logos and product images directly on to the diaries.
  • Print on wood: Some of our customers bring in blocks of wood, to be printed upon.
  • Print on ACP sheets: Residential buildings need to install name boards in their lobbies, displaying the names of the occupants. UV flatbed printing can directly print the names on sheets of ACP – aluminum composite panel.
  • Print on glass: Flatbed UV printing can also be done on the reverse surface of sheets of glass. When you view the glass from the front, you get a beautiful back painted glass effect.
  • Print on acrylic: Flatbed UV printers can be used to print directly onto sheets of acrylic. Company logos, display boards, images, etc. look amazing when printed on acrylic.
  • Print on switch boards, control panels and membrane panels: Control panel printing is another interesting application of flatbed UV printing. Clients bring in their blank panels. We reverse print the company logo, directions, control symbols, etc. directly onto the same.
  • Printing on gift items: Personalizing gift items becomes very easy, using flatbed UV printing. Orchid Digitals can prints on key chains, pens, mouse pads, tea coasters and even peripherals like mouse and keyboards. In fact, there was a customer who walked in with a Rubik’s Cube. We printed different images on the six surfaces of the same.
  • Print name plates: Name plates made of wood, acrylic, ACP or even glass can be instantly produced using UV printing technology

Do you Know What are Types of Sublimation Ink? & How They are Applicated?

Sublimation printing is popular use in many designs. As we know, the sublimation transfer ink is a necessary material in the process. Do you know how does it work in digital printing? How it used in our daliy life, such as the sportswear that you wear? And what are the types of sublimation ink? For the a series of questions, now following me, I will tell you the answer in this article.

Sublimation inks are used by inkjet printers as it prepares to print on the sublimation paper. This causes the powdery dyes to heat up and vaporize into a gaseous form. These gaseous dyes diffuse and are allowed to permeate the printing surface, creating a photo quality print by gentle gradations. Once a color has been used, the roller of the printer is then reset for the next color to be printed. After all the colors have been printed , the substrate then makes a final pass over the printed image to give it a glossy outlook by lamination.

Dye sublimation inks are used to print reverse images on heat resistant sublimation paper for the final design. When they are about to be transferred to the polyester fabric, a heat press is used that operates at a temperature around 180⁰C to 210⁰C (375⁰F).

When using Dye Thermal Transfer, the YMCKO ribbon is used to transfer pixels on the substrate through the thermal head. The ribbon consists of Y-yellow, M-magenta, C-color spectrums, K as black panel and O is the overlay which is a thin protective covering.

What are the Types of Sublimation Ink
Sublimation inks consist of basically tow different types of dyes. Aqueous sublimation ink dyes are used for desktop and large format printers. The other type includes the solvent type of sublimation ink dyes are used by printers with a wide head like epson . The former type of sublimation inks have been found to be used increasingly by piezoelectric printers due to their print speeds for large formats.

The Applications of Sublimation ink
Sublimation inks can be utilized for the following purposes:
Textile– polyester fabrics become sublime with versatile inks and able to create carpet fabrics, flagging material, sails, and sportswear. All of them are washable and sustainable even after hardwearing.

Hardware – ceramic, wood, and metal items can be used for sublimation prints to decorate and create signage for companies like on mugs, key chains, magnets etc. The vivid inks are applied to the items and are able to maintain their look even after continuous washing. Synthetic materials with a polyester base can be easily sublimated. This includes rigid polyester films, polyester textiles, including nylon and those items that can be treated with polyester.
Limitations
It is important to know that sublimation inks are genuinely transparent by their natural composition making them useable only for light colored and white backgrounds and objects. Another limitation to sublimation printing is that they don’t sit well with fabrics containing pure cotton and surface that are non-porous and don’t have a coated layer of polyester.

Okay, these all above are my share about the knowlege of sublimation heat transfer ink. If you have any other needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

Why the Dye Sublimation Ink Brand & Manufacturers You Choose Is Also Very Important?

Hi, nice to see you again, my dear friends. Today, I also want to talk about the choice of dye sublimation ink. As we know, when we choose sublimation ink, the quality is very important,. In fact, the brand & manufacturers of sublimation transfer ink also should we consider. Do you know the reason? Reading and following, I will share you more.
Sublimation inks must be manufactured with a given printer in mind. Not every ink jet printer can process sublimation ink. For example, some print heads use heat, which can cause premature gassing of the dye solids in the ink. Additionally, head jets, pressure systems and internal tubing must be able to handle the inks without having their composition degraded in the process. Today, let me introduce Sublistar sublimation ink and related products to you.

Sublistar has more than 10 years of experience in developing and testing precise formulations of sublimation ink to work with specific printers. These inks are made with the highest-quality materials for specific print outcomes.

Not only does Sublistar's Product Development team continue to develop new formulations to meet the needs of customers, they also continue to refine existing formulations to deliver the best quality prints with our printers. What’s more, Sublistar’ precision manufacturing process fills cartridges to ensure there are no contaminants, impurities or micro-bubbles that can affect colour output and printer hardware.

What’s more, the colour and print management software Sublistar offers is also designed to bring together the ink formulation, specific printer technology, as well as paper type and substrates, to generate accurate colors.

Because of the high and consistent quality of Sublistar inks, customers know they can rely on their one-stop systems to deliver what they need, when they need it.
Manufacturers of bulk and aftermarket inks cannot make the same claims as Sublistar. The manufacturing practices of other inks formulations can introduce impurities and contaminants, do not have the right balance of components to deliver standard or desired colors, or even keep the amount of ink used by the printer to a minimum.

After market printers oversaturate prints with these inks to generate deeper colors, which results in substantial waste and reduction in image detail. If a manufacturer offers colour management tools, they come in the form of ICC profiles, which do not take the specific printer, substrates and paper into consideration when formulating color output.

In the end, the quality of the sublimation transfer ink you choose greatly affects your production efficiency, whether or not you damage your printer in the process and will determine if your colors come out they way they should. Given the high risk of lower quality ink, can you really afford not to use a high-quality ink? After all, you really do get what you pay for when it comes to sublimation.

Okay, If you have any other needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

Simple Ways to Check the Dye Sublimation Ink wether Usable or Not & Ways to Store Ink Cartridges

Hello, nice to see you again, my dear friends! If you are in sublimation printing industrial, do you know the ways to check the dye sublimation ink wether usable or not when it was placed for a long time? And do you know how to protect your ink cartridges? Today, I will share you the answer for you. Hope you are interested in it!

Check If Your Sublimation Trasnfer Ink Is Usable
How to make sure dye sublimation ink still safe to use after long term storage? Sometimes, when sublimation ink is stored for a while, despite all good intentions and attempts for preservation, there may be an issue with a particular cartridge. You cannot just insert any ink cartridge from storage into your printer and start printing without testing it first, as this can not only waste your ink, it can also seriously damage your printer.

You should follow these steps before rendering an sublimation ink useable:

  • Unseal the ink cartridge and wipe off any dust and debris.
  • Check to make sure that there isn’t any ink spilling out.
  • Ensure that print head remains moist by wiping across it with a dry tissue.
  • Check the contact terminals to make sure are appearing the way they should.
  • Insert the ink cartridge into your printer and run a test page for quality assurance.

How to protect sublimation ink cartridges?

1. Always Store Cartridges Upright
Whether your cartridges are loose or still in their boxes, it is crucial that you keep them stored standing in an upright position at all times. Several secondhand cartridge manufacturers have pointed out that this is how to properly store printer ink. Many prominent printer and ink manufacturers like Epson and HP recommend storing ink cartridges label up as well. This is due to the fact that downward facing printheads can leak, and the ink in multi-colored cartridges could possibly mix, rendering them useless.

2. Storing Opened Ink Cartridges
If your ink cartridges are already outside their original packaging, they should be placed in a plastic tub with an airtight lid for safekeeping. Along with the cartridges, place a damp cloth or paper in the sealed tub to initiate humid conditions in a controlled environment.

Remember, if cartridge nozzles are not stored in airtight and humidified conditions they can crust over or dry out, nullifying their usefulness. Make sure that there is nothing touching or leaning against the cartridge nozzles. If anything rubs against them, it can cause the ink to wick.

Skyimage Sublimation with New, OEM Quality
With these simple ink cartridge storage tips, you can ensure that your sublimation transfer ink lasts and that it is readily available when needed. If you know how to store ink cartridges when not in use, you will soon develop the habit without thinking about it. Try to incorporate ink storage as a work or home printing practice. Not only will these suggestions save you a lot of time and frustration, they will also save you a ton of money.

How to Choose Sublimation Transfer Ink When It Comes to Cost Concerns & Profits

During sublimation printing industrial many businessman often caring the problem about cost concerns and the profit. So many people care for the price of sublimation transfer ink, when they are choose one high-quality sublimation ink. For this question, how do you think about it? Reading and following this article, I will share you my view.

Cost Concerns
Many people are concerned about the cost of ink and how it affects their bottom line. Of course, everyone wants to keep costs as low as possible. When it comes to sublimation, however, the cost of the ink accounts for very little of your overall production. What’s more, trying to save on ink can cost more in the long run.

Our company sales many kinds sublimation ink, the quality also no problem, the price also good. Such as epson, mimaki, j-teck, kiian sublimation ink and so on.
Choose right sublimation ink depend on your demand, and the output quality of your products.

It makes more sense to look at where you can make your production process faster and more efficient, or where you can save on shipping or substrate costs, than to look to save on ink prices. Using lower quality inks, too, can slow down production and leave you with wasted prints, costly repairs to your printer, and a lot of frustration. So I believe that you must have knew how to choose the sublimation ink for yourself.

In Concluding
The best advice for anyone trying to figure out what type of ink to use is to really look at what you’re trying to achieve with your sublimated prints. If your customers are looking for products that look great, but don’t need color matching, fluorescents or artist-quality detail, then CMYK inks are a good option. If you’re looking to create specific products for specific applications with specific needs, then it makes sense to look deeper into what printers can accommodate specialty eight-color ink sets. Whichever you choose, you’ll want to ensure you’re using the highest quality inks for the money you spend. Otherwise, in the long run, you may find you’re losing much more than you save.

Okay, these all above are my share about the view of cost concerns of dye sublimation ink. If you have any other needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

What is Solvent and eco solvent?
Solvent and eco solvent is a commonly used term when it comes to flex and vinyl printing. Eco solvent is a printing mechanism which is ecologically safe and used mainly for indoor applications. Normally solvent ink are harsh and are associated with definite odor i.e. Smell making them less likely to be used indoor.

What is Eco solvent printing?
Eco solvent printing doesn't have any harmful ingredients and it is biodegradable. Being biodegradable means it can break down and absorb in the human body without any complications. You need not take without any smell to be automatically labelled as eco solvent. Odor is just one of the advantage of the eco material but there are lot many more as well. One definite advantage which we can associate with the solvent printing is that it can be used to print on wide variety or material. It is cheaper to print on this media.

What is solvent ink?
Solvent ink does exhumes fumes and it can be harmful to human. Outdoor banner or hoarding though is bigger but it is at such a height and distance that damage is very much limited.
Eco solvent media is a high resolution print where printing cost is more. Design artwork and images required should be high in resolution with no pixelation. We can expect very high quality print which is not the case with the solvent media. This is advised to used on good quality media which absorb the color well.

We use eco media mainly for indoor environment though it can be used for outdoor as well. As solvent type is made to last under outdoor weather condition, there is hardly any major issue. We use them for hoarding, banner, shop board, canopy, standees etc. All store indoor branding, POP displays, merchandise branding on the other hand is done on eco solvent.

From design perspective you have to ensure that there is high level of detailing, color profiling and better image resolution. On the other hand outdoor media like hoarding etc are made to be seen from a distance we can use large image and font size. This will make it more readable. Far distance viewing will make no pixelation visible from a distance. Big MNC and corporate design team often provide the artwork in high resolution preferably vector format where ever possible apart from embedded images, so that printers can adjust the resolution as required for these 2 types of media.

Higher the pass more pronounced should be the impression. More the number of pass will not make low resolution image print better. Eco solvent printing machine typically do not have any pass they are printed in high resolution with single pass only.

Okay, these all above are my share about the differences of solven ink & eco solvent ink. If you have any other needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

Four Simple Ways Help You to Store Sublimation Ink Easily

hi~ nice to see you again, my friends. It's a nice day in Nanjing. But at outdoor, it's also very hot. Like these days, do you know how to preserve your dye sublimation ink? There many methods to help you store sublimation ink, but some of them are very complex. So, today I want to share you four simple ways to preserve sublimation ink. It is very easy for you to remember.

As we know, sublimation ink is is a necessary material of sublimation printing. The ink is made up of solid dye particles in water-based solution. During the dye sublimation printing process, the ink is transferred onto a paper.
Sublimation transfer ink is one of the most widely used inks because of its results. A good quality dye sublimation ink produces accurate, effective and lasting printing colors, flow and performance. The ink can be applied to polyester and polyester coated substrates.

A key factor affecting the quality and life of the ink is the way you store it. It’s crucial to store the ink properly, in a safe space so that it lasts long.
Here are four simple ways you can store sublimation transfer ink:

1.Keep an eye on expiration date
First off, pay attention to the expiration date of the ink. Similar to other printing ink, dye sublimation ink has an expiration date. Do not use an expired ink.
Apart from causing damage to a printer, an expired dye sublimation ink may be harmful to your health. The ink is made up of various ingredients, including pigments, dyes and more. Once it expires, replace it with a new ink. Avoid storing the expired sublimation ink in a freezer. A frozen ink will be of no use.

2. Protect it from sunlight
In order to extend the life of dye sublimation ink, keep it away from sunlight. Excessive sun exposure can contaminate it.

3. Use an air tight container to store it
An air right container is the safest way for storing dye sublimation ink. Avoid shaking or moving the container as it can cause air bubbles. Air bubbles can decrease the printing quality. Make sure the ink containers are stored in a flat position.

4. Use distilled water to clean ink cartridge
Tap water contains many germs and bacteria, which can harm dye sublimation ink. Use distilled water for washing the ink cartridge. Once you have washed the cartridge, let it dry. Pour in dye sublimation ink into a dry cartridge. This will prevent the formation of air bubbles.

Finally, invest in good quality dye sublimation ink for great sublimation printing results. At SKYIMAGE we provide eco-friendly sublimation transfer ink at competitive pricing.

Okay, these all above are my share about the ways of storing sublimation inks. If you have any other needs or questions welcome to Fei Yue Paper INC. contact us at any time. We will provide you the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

Does the UV Ink Printing Can Damage to the Environment?

Hello, good afternoon, my dear friends! Have you known uv ink? Do you know uk inks applications? And what advantages of uv ink? Does the UV ink printing can damage to the environment? For a series of questions, mey be many people feel confused. It's doesn't matter, in the artical I will tell you the answer clearly!

Does the UV ink printing can damage to the environment? Obviously not! Now that green printing is becoming a bigger issue in the printing industry, you should see what ultraviolet (UV) technology is doing.

What is UV doing?
UV allows green printers to use ink without toxins, unlike solvent-based ink. Because there are no solvents, UV inks can be successfully applied to both flexible and hard surfaces. As a result, more equipment manufacturers are introducing inkjet printers that use UV inks. Finally, because they’re UV inks, they’re actually weather resistant, which makes them ideal for long term outdoor use, unlike some vinyls and laminates.

With UV printing, you don’t have to mess with release liners, solvents, and lamination. Most traditional solvent-based inks have 60 – 70 percent solvents, which contain VOC toxins that have to evaporate off. In other words, 60 – 70 percent of the ink is being “wasted” in the printing process. Needless to say, having these solvents evaporating into the air isn’t good for your employees or the environment.

What advantages of UV ink?
UV inks are environmentally friendly, because unlike solvent-based inks, 100 percent of the ink is used. UV ink is a two-part acrylic epoxy, the A part is the ink itself with recepters to be activated by the B part which is UV light. The UV rays from a light source quickly activate and start a cure process to harden the ink, rather than bieng evaporated like solvent based ink. UV ink is an instant cure (dry) process, which means no dry time, that means no wasted time. Some forget about that resource.

What about the quality of UV ink?
In the Fei Yue Paper INC., we have a wide format (sign) UV printer. It’s basically a giant inkjet printer. They’re great for printing photos and complex graphics to create signs and banners. Realtors can have their photo and large images of the on a sign to visualize the real estate, event organizers can create large outdoor exhibits and tradeshow displays.

Green technology isn’t just for the printing industry. Many business owners and executives are starting to ask themselves how they can make their products and services greener. With new advancements in technology, like UV ink, it’s becoming a question of when, not if, they can make it happen.

Okay, these all above are my share about the knowlege of UV ink. If you have any other needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

Let's Analyze the Subtle Differences Between the Dye Inks and Sublimation Inks

It is easy to confused the two kinds ink for someone - dye ink and sublimation ink. Because of dye and sublimation inks are commonly used in inkjet printing. Contrary to what many people believe, there’s a great difference between the two inks.

Here is a look at the main features of dye and sublimation inks:

Dye Ink
Before we get to the advantage and disadvantages of using dye ink, it’s important to talk about what dye ink actually is.
Dye ink is the standard ink used in inkjet printers. It is made from water and colorant. The colorant gives the ink ‘color.’

Pros and cons
Dye inks typically come in a variety of colors, which makes them suitable for decorative or artistic use. The ink can easily stick to textile fabrics, print paper or any other appropriate medium.
Due to its small molecular size (1.5–4 nanometers), dye ink can produce vibrant colors. Another advantage of using dye ink is that it’s more economical than other inks, such as pigment ink.
On the other hand, the biggest downside of dye ink is that water or excessive heat can ruin the quality of printed products. When you are using dye inks for printing, be very careful that the final product does not come into contact with water. A few drops of water can make the ink flow across the paper.

When should you use it
Dye ink is a good option if you need to print documents and photographs. It is much more economical than pigment ink.

Dye Sublimation Ink
Dye sublimation ink is a dye that is printed onto specific items, such as t-shirts, mugs, plaques, coasters, and more, via heat and pressure. Heat and pressure help convert the dye into a gas state, without turning into liquid.

Pros and cons
Dye sublimation ink is high quality, water-proof ink. The ink does not smudge because of high temperature. In addition, dye sublimation ink lasts longer than other inks.
As the imprints are dye-based rather than ink-based, the dye becomes part of the product. Dye sublimation ink has greater print accuracy and performance and delivers stunning results. Sublimated products will not crack, peel off or wash off.
Sublimation ink is used for textile printing or personalized or promotional items. However, the ink can be used on specific materials, such as polyester and polyester-coated substrates. Other materials like cotton will not withstand the heat during printing.

When should you use it
Dye sublimation is the perfect ink for transferring graphics onto pre-coated ceramics, metals, plastic or polyester t-shirt printing. Interested in buying premium quality dye sublimation ink?

Okay, these all above are my share about the features of dye ink and dye sublimation transfer ink. If you have any other needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

Tips for You to Clean Sublimation Ink When Spill to Carpet, Clothes and Fabric

When you replace the ink cartridges or pour sublimation ink in ink cartridges, it is easy spill dye sublimation ink to you hands or body. Then what can we to clean it? Printer ink is fairly easy to wash off skin, you might need a couple of scrubs and washes to get it off completely, but it’ll fade away. However, if you’ve wound up with ink on your clothes (or worse – your carpet!) then it’s a different story altogether. It is very difficult to clean it. Then no way to solve the problem? No, reading and following the artical, it may be help you!

If you found this article while browsing for how to remove ink from carpet, clothes or fabric, here’s what you can try to do to limit the stain and the damage. The key is to act immediately! Get hold of some isopropyl alcohol (available in most drug stores, or the pharmacy section in your department chain) and make sure the potency of alcohol is at least 70-90%. Soak a cotton ball or a clean cloth with the alcohol and dab it on the stain. Be careful to not rub in or scrub the area as that might spread the ink and make the stain worse. And at no cost should you pour the isopropyl alcohol right from the bottle onto the fabric.

Now dab and blot the ink out with a clean cotton ball, clean cloth or you can even use a wet/dry vacuum cleaner. Repeat the process of dabbing with alcohol and blotting or vacuuming ink out until the ink stain no longer continues to transfer to the cloth or cotton. If the stain persists you could use hydrogen peroxide or consider a commercial cleaner, however it’s doubtful that you’ll get any more of the stain out.

Professional ink refillers at Fei Yue Digital-Jet stores use protective rubber gloves when refilling cartridges to protect their skin from stains. Unlike laser toner, (a fine dust-like) polymer, ink does not do much harm and washes off skin, but if you’re refilling at home you have to be careful not to get ink in your eyes, nose and mouth.
Ink refill kits for the home or office can get very messy, and if you don’t do it right you might end up ruining your ink cartridge and have to end up paying for a new one, damage your printer with a leaky cartridge, and stain your carpet or furniture if you have ink spills.

It is best to trust a professional ink refilling company to fill your ink cartridges for you. A skilled technician knows exactly how to refill ink and a reputable company will use the best industry-quality ink available and make sure it’s compatible with your printer model.

At Fei Yue Paper Industrial Inc we supply top quality printer ink cartridges and high-quality sublimatino ink refills that we have mant discount, then help you save money. This includes Epson ink cartridges, MIMAKI ink cartridges and more. Give us a try today!

Can you Clearly Distinguish the Five Digital Textile Inks during Sublimation Printing?

As we know, the ink with many types, can you clearly distinguish them? If you can't do that, I hope my artical can help you! The Introduction of Digital Textile Inks: Disperse, Reactive, Acid, Pigment.

Go more in depth with “Dye Sublimation” Digital Textile Inks.
“Dye sublimation” is commonly known as digital textile printing for many in the industry, but virtually it is just one of several processes that can be used. Theoretically any wide-format printer that able to print on textile can be called a fabric printer. In this article we are speaking only about true digital textile printers that are engineered to bond or infuse ink into fabric rather than technologies such as latex or UV that lay ink on top of the surface of fabric. All the inks we mention below utilize water-soluble dyes.

Let’s look at the difference of inks: disperse, reactive, acid and pigment.
Disperse inks are the well-known type of digital textile inks, and this is often utilized in the process of dye sublimation. Disperse inks penetrate directly into the fibers of the substrate, becoming part of the textile itself. And they are broken down into low-energy, medium-energy and high-energy dispersion. For example, dye sublimation inks are literally a low-energy dye dispersion, most generally used for transfer printing from paper to textile. The sublimation process needs the use of a calendar to deliver heat and pressure. Once the ink and carrier is heated to a high temperature (typically around 380-400 degrees F) the carrier evaporates and the dye turns to gas. Then the gas is received by the “open” synthetic fibers, after they cool, fibers shut and encapsulate the colorant, that then returns to a solid, actually dye the textile.

Reactive ink has dyes. It applied to pretreated fabric by setting chemical bonds with cellulose and then fixated. Reactive inks are most suitable for linen, rayon, nylon and other cellulosic materials.

Acid inks need pretreated material for fixation and are printed directly onto the textile then evaporated to set the ink. The acid inks dye textiles by producing ionic or electrostatic bonds with those such as silk, wool, and nylon. It must be mentioned that fabric with reactive and acid ink must be washed after transfer so that any residue can be removed. Reactive and acid-based inks also should be set into the fabrics with a post-heating process to set the dyes permanently.
Pigment inks are finely ground powder existed in liquid carriers with binders. Where sublimation creates constancy when the dye is encapsulated into a polymer, pigments are bonded to natural fabrics using binders and a heat calender process. Digitally printed fabrics are in high demand, so this is an area we expect to see significant growth in the future.

Here is a conclusion of which inks are best for specific types of fabric:
Disperse and sublimation inks are utilized on polyester, acetate rayon, poly-Lycra® and acrylics and post-treatment heat is required.

Reactive dyes are suitable for various sorts of textiles like cotton, linen, rayon, nylon and other cellulosic textiles. Pre- and post-treatment are required.
Acid dyes works best on several kinds of fabrics, such as wool, silk, polyamides, cashmere, angora and nylon, also post-treatment is required.

Pigment inks are utilized in cotton and natural fabrics better. Post-treatment heat process is needed.

Our specialty is to offer “one-stop sublimation printing solution”.
In the process of printing and transferring, the printer, paper, ink, transfer machine, cutting machine and even the software which can deal with pictures are all sold in our company.

Please believe that our professional degree. Engaged in sublimation transfer printing industry for many years, we can provide the best advice for you.
